XPRT Construction was appointed to deliver an innovative roofing and façade package at Vawdrey Close in Tower Hamlets, introducing what is believed to be an industry-first solution: hanging tile cladding installed on a fully engineered aluminium batten system. This forward-thinking approach provided the traditional aesthetic of tile cladding while benefiting from the durability, precision, and non-combustible properties of aluminium support structures. In addition, high-performance PVC roofing systems were installed to ensure long-term waterproofing and resilience across the development.
Complementing the cladding and roofing works, XPRT Construction supplied and installed architectural aluminium copings, rainwater goods, and trims to provide robust weatherproof detailing and a cohesive external finish. Each element was precision-fabricated to integrate seamlessly with the building envelope, ensuring effective water management and enhanced durability. The completed project at Vawdrey Close demonstrates XPRT Construction’s ability to combine innovation, compliance, and high-quality workmanship to deliver a distinctive and technically advanced façade solution.
