XPRT Construction was appointed to deliver a comprehensive roofing and façade refurbishment at St Peters & Paul’s Church in Battersea, combining traditional materials with modern construction solutions to enhance both performance and appearance. The works included the installation of high-quality felt roofing systems to provide reliable, long-term waterproofing, alongside green roofing to improve thermal efficiency and contribute to environmental sustainability. Stone tiling laid on pedestal systems was incorporated to create durable, level external surfaces with effective drainage, while steel standing seam cladding delivered a contemporary, weather-resistant finish to selected elevations.
Further improvements were achieved through the application of External Wall Insulation (EWI) render to upgrade the building’s thermal performance and external finish. XPRT Construction also supplied and installed architectural aluminium copings, fascia, and soffits, ensuring robust weatherproof detailing and a clean, cohesive aesthetic. The completed project successfully enhanced the building’s durability, energy efficiency, and overall presentation, providing a modernised exterior suited to its active community setting.
