XPRT Construction was appointed to deliver a comprehensive roofing and architectural aluminium package at New City College in Hornchurch, enhancing the building’s performance, durability, and sustainability. The scope included the installation of high-performance PVC single-ply roofing systems, providing robust, long-term waterproofing across the roof areas. Tapered insulation was incorporated to improve thermal efficiency and create effective falls for drainage, while integrated PV support systems were installed to facilitate future solar panel installations and support the college’s sustainability objectives.
In addition to the roofing works, XPRT Construction delivered a bespoke architectural aluminium package comprising aluminium copings, rainwater goods, and cladding flashings. These elements were precision-fabricated and installed to ensure effective weatherproof detailing, efficient water management, and a clean, contemporary façade finish. The completed project provides New City College with a durable, energy-efficient roofing solution and high-quality external detailing designed to perform reliably in a busy educational environment.
