XPRT Construction was appointed to undertake a comprehensive roofing package at Merchant Taylors’ School in Northwood, delivering a combination of structural carpentry and high-performance waterproofing solutions within a live educational environment. The works included specialist roof carpentry to strengthen and refine the existing roof structure, ensuring a solid foundation for the new roofing systems. A durable PVC single-ply roofing membrane was installed to provide long-term weather protection, complemented by liquid applied roofing in complex or detailed areas to achieve a seamless, fully bonded waterproof finish.
To complete the scheme, XPRT Construction supplied and installed architectural aluminium rainwater goods, ensuring efficient drainage and enhanced durability while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. Delivered with careful planning to minimise disruption to the school’s daily operations, the project has provided Merchant Taylors’ School with a robust, low-maintenance roofing solution designed for longevity, safety, and reliable performance.
